some of you may remember that when i first told you guys about EZ TEXTILES...
my friend helped to launch the site, which is a dream for fashion fiends + designers!

it is the world's largest online library of production-ready, royalty-free digital textile designs, which makes the once time consuming + costly process of buying + converting textiles designs, now a quick + easy process. subscribers to the new website can freely search, visualize + build personalized design collections for apparel, home furnishing + virtually any other creative project.

i finally got a chance to play around on the site + got lost for hours creating different designs!
i decided to take the über inspiring streetstyle shot above + attempt to recreate it using the EZtextiles system-- being on there is seriously amazing + addictive.

Pink Pony

i was extremely touched when RALPH LAUREN asked me to be a part of
the 10 year anniversary celebration of their PINK PONY campaign.
PINK PONY was started to help raise awareness of cancer + to raise funds for research.
as some of you may know, my father was recently diagnosed with cancer so this
endeavor + my choice to be a part of this campaign is a personal one.

100 bloggers were asked to help raise awareness by photographing
themselves wearing the classic RL polo bearing the pink polo icon.

My view at 6:30am

Early morning is one of my favorite times with Toby. He's super mellow and talk-y, and we "chitchat" about lots of fascinating things while he plays in his crib. When Toby was first born, I was so anxious that I was doing everything right (he was so teeny), but these days I'm thankfully settling in, feeling more confident and just enjoying his awesome company. Oh, Toby, I adore you and your Jack Nicholson eyebrows!

With fall officially upon us, I wanted to wear something simple, yet uber feminine today... and with the sun shining down-- for the time being at least-- this little jacket proved to be the perfect choice. It's super lightweight and obviously not equipped for chillier weather (what with half of it missing and all), so I jumped at the chance to wear it before having to transition into hard-core winter gear (and believe me, it's inevitable). I felt like a young schoolgirl again, a modern day Madeline if you will, in my little bow-adorned coat... all I need now is red hair and a yellow hat and I'm set.

Laughter yoga

Have you guys heard of laughter yoga? Indian physician Madan Lal Kataria encourages people to get together in small groups and start fake laughing; after a while, he says, the laughter will become genuine and euphoric. Dr. Kataria believes that laughter can cure physical and psychological ailments. It sounds nutty, but my friend Scott recently tried it with a group of friends and said it was surprisingly awesome. Would you give it a shot?

A Lovely Room

I love to decorate.  I've spent tons of time scouring design magazines, etsy, and flea markets for the perfect details for my home.  But there is one room that I have spent more time and energy on than any other.

Whoa! Our girl Jordan just hosted a four-course dinner party on a beach underneath the Golden Gate Bridge. It must have felt so magical to be eating parsnip soup in the cool breeze beneath the twinkling lights.
