One of my favorite color palettes for summer is this citrusy lemon-lime one that was part of a photography workshop by Justin & Mary Marantz, featured on Style Me Pretty.  I used yellows and greens in my own wedding, and if done right, I think it is a fresh & chic color combo.  And these photos are amazing!  Check out the full feature here.

Signature Cocktail...Snow Cones!

Cast of Gossip Girl and Glee Cast on New Op Campaign Ads

The spring’s upcoming ad campaign for juniors clothing brand Op is definitely star-studded! Gossip Girl’s Vanessa Abrams (Jessica Szohr) and Glee's Finn Hudson and Quinn Fabray (Cory Monteith and Dianna Agron)will be featured in the new ads. R&B singer Cassie, 90210’s Trevor Donovan, and Alex Meraz of The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Eclipse will also appear in the ads.


The “Rock Your Shine” campaign was set in a summer party where the young stars are lounging in a hammock, barbecuing, and getting ready to surf while wearing sexy and sweet beach-ready pieces.

Summer Music Festival Chic

Find yourself clicking through pictures from Coachella and Bonnaroo in your cube longingly, overcome with that missed-out-on-the-best-party-of-the-year feeling? Me, too. And then this comforting thought occurred to me: just because I wasn’t there doesn’t mean I can’t crib the summer music festival look. My EZ Coachella-inspired look involves a bikini and short-shorts, loads of long necklaces (and perhaps a bracelet or two for good measure), a floppy hat, gladiator sandals, and, of course, statement sunglasses.
