I’ve talked about building an outfit from the shoes up before, and when these Sergio Rossi boots crossed my desk, I was instantly inspired by their sleek sophistication. Sartorially Inspired

I adore The Sartorialist blog. Scott Shuman, the man behind the machine, has a pretty darn close to perfect eye for capturing unique looks in the perfect light, and I check out his blog for street-style inspiration every day. Today, I found an Italian take on boho, titled “On the Street... Gloria, Florence.” Her top reminded me of a little Karta blouse (on sale!) and her skirt a ruffled Thayer number. Add a studded Betsey Johnson handbag to the mix and some Converse by John Varvatos sneaks, and I’ve almost got it. The finishing touch? Layers of necklaces and bracelets, naturally. The whole look has me feeling a little more Italy-in-the-summertime chic already.
