{Inspiration Board} Peachy Keen & Green

I think peach is the new pink.  It is soft, feminine, and lovely but you can sell your fiance on it because it isn't pink.  And it works as a neutral because you can pair it with almost any other color and it works.  You can pair it with brighter colors and make your palette cheery and summery like this, or with browns and tans to make it more rustic like this.  But I think my favorite pairing is with another soft color, like this peach and sea glass green combination.

If I were getting married all over again I think this would be my chosen color palette!  It is just.so.pretty!

Floral Lovelies

I spotted this wedding a while back, and while all of the details are gorgeous, I am in love with the florals.  The perfect shade of pink, the big dahlias, the bouquets...  love it all.

Inspiration Board: Classic Black & White

Continuing this week of inspiration boards is a black & white one:  classic meets feminine with a little down home charm.  You can never go wrong with classic.

French Garden Wedding

I am IN LOVE with this wedding I spotted on the Ruffled blog.  It is equal parts romantic, pretty, and fun. The bouquet is my favorite and I think the color palette is perfection.

Inspiration Board: Jane Austen Wedding

Take pink English roses, lavender gardens, feminine gowns and romantic updos and what do you get...lovely Jane Austen inspiration.  You could incorporate books as favors or in your decor to add to the vintage feel.  Use antique teacups in your florals.  If you don't live in England or have access to an English manor, just use the inspiration to turn your backyard garden wedding into one fit for a duchess or queen!

Inspiration Board: Green & Black Tie

I've been dying to design an inspiration board around this amazing shoot by Jose Villa that was on Once Wed a little while ago.  It completely sold me on a black wedding gown, especially this one by Vera Wang.  So without further adieu, here is my green, black tie, and a little bit vintage board:

Inspiration Board: Pink, Feminine, & Romantic

The new issue of Martha Stewart Weddings is entitled "Pretty in Pink," and it really is!  Taking its inspiration from ballerinas, it features some of the softest, fluffiest, and most romantic gowns I have ever seen.  If I didn't know I would look ridiculous, I would wear a pink tulle tutu everyday (at least in the privacy of my own home), so I absolutely loved the theme.  So, as I often do when I am inspired, I made a board based on the new MSW issue:
Top Row:  tulle flowers by Emersonmade, head piece by Twigs & Honey, necklace from flickr via The Sweetest Occasion, bride and groom from MSW, florals from flickr
