Rock the Boho: The Edgy Side of Eclectic

They say every generation improves on what went before. And while we respect the Woodstock era's peace and love sensibility, we find their fashion sense, to be quite frank, somewhat lacking. That's why we've done them one better. More Lower East Side than Laurel Canyon, the new bohemian style takes hippie cool into haute new territory, pairing little cut-offs with floaty silk camis, delicately elegant long necklaces and slouchy-luxe bags. Glam sunglasses and arty-chic sandals complete the laid-back yet fashion-forward look. Bohemian chic with a streetwise sensibility? Find it right here, at shopbop.

Call Me Mellow Yellow

It happens every year. I pick a color and fixate on it until the next season rolls around. Last year, it was deep purple (okay, I still kind of love that one), and this year, I can’t get enough yellow. I’m not just talking clothes either. Stationary, housewares, flowers... The sunny hue has captured every last ounce of my attention. But it’s not such an unhealthy obsession seeing as how it’s a pretty classic shade for summer, and we’ve got an entire trend dedicated to it filled with dresses, tops, bags, and even a pair of adorably short Hunter wellies. So I’ll stock up on fake tanner for my naturally pale skin and rock the lemon shade from now until, well, until the next tint captures my fancy.

Trend Alert: Retro Fever from the 70s and 80s

Slinky fabric, sequins, wide and skinny legs, and neon brights, the season is taking a trip back in time to the decades that brought us Studio 54 and the Brat Pack. We're talking about the '70s and the '80s, and the styles of today are reinterpreting the trends of those twenty years with modern brilliance. Try on a disco-ready silver frock from McQ, or take the sequined route with LaROK. Rich & Skinny has you covered with sexy colored denim, and Rachel Pally has all the Technicolor goodness your wardrobe needs. It's Retro Fever, and it's so hot for spring. Catch it, at shopbop.
