Yohji Yamamoto and Adidas Y-3 2010 Fall/Winter Collection was on show at New York Fashion Week two day ago. The long lasting collaboration has in recent years found innovative and unique ways to spark the runway.
He offered an extraordinarily dark take on love and romance for his Valentine's Day Y-3 show. Armed with tongue-in-cheek humor, splashes of bright color, and intriguing aesthetic contrasts, the label’s Fall/Winter 2010 collection brought a healthy dose of fun back to the runway.
Y-3 continues to be a great outlet for Yohji Yamamoto’s more technical approach to designing. Fall/winter 2010 promises to be another impressive collection as the Japanese designer continues to centre a large amount of his work around black.
