Hello Kitty - Gift Card

A while ago, i participated in a hello kitty contest on facebook. The prize was a $50 gift card on thier website http://www.wasuki.com/ and i was one of the people that got a gift card from them. Yay, i never win anything so it was pretty fun :)

Here are the things i picked out:

A storage case for glasses, a coin purse and a keychain.

Jazz Age Lawn Party

This weekend, Alex, Toby and I took the ferry over to the Jazz Age Lawn Party on Governor's Island.
A jazz band played old-timey tunes, and there was a tug-of-war, pie contest and Charleston lessons.
People dressed up in fabulous 1920's ensembles--lots of pearls, suspenders and straw hats. (I, of course, wore a nursing shirt:)
Toby mingled with the dapper crowd.
And this girl wore the most fabulous swimsuit (which she had made herself). Yowza!

Cause I LOVE green!

Yeap! I know I haven't been able to write in a long time. I have been very busy with my job as a media planner and everything's been very tough since I have to study and work at the same time (not a piece of cake for sure). However, I just wanted to brag about my latest acquisition online. I just discovered a great shop "REMERITAS", a mexican e-store that has marvelous and very artistic pieces at very reasonable prices. I just fell in love with this beautiful green skirt, and I have a biiiig wishlist that I have to cover soon!

With this amazing purchase I got some gifts: amazing and bizarre stickers, and a fabulous Mag call ERRR MAGAZINE, which by the way is AMAZING!

Rustic Ojai Wedding

I spent my one year anniversary in Ojai this weekend and there was a wedding where we were staying.  The location, the Ojai Valley Inn, was so beautiful I kept thinking it would be the perfect place for a wedding.  So I looked for a real wedding at that venue and found this gem on Grey Likes Weddings.  Even better, the bride wore the same wedding dress as I did!

Even if you can't hold your wedding at the Inn, I do highly recommend a long weekend getaway!  It was the perfect romantic spot and we can't wait to go back.
