Juicy Couture: Viva La Juicy Perfume Sample

I recieved my Viva La Juicy perfume by Juicy Couture in the mail today.
Im very happy that i decided to buy a sample first before buying the bottle. I haven't made up my mind yet about this perfume. I think i just need to wait for a while, then see how it smells.

Wish they had Juicy Couture in Norway!

Do you have this perfume?
What do you think about the smell? :)

Viva La Juicy Perfume

I really want to buy this perfume by Juicy Couture.
The problem is that its not available in the perfume stores here, and im not a big fan of buying perfumes online without smelling them first.
I have been looking after samles on ebay, and im considering buying a sample just to try it out. Then if i dont like it, its not a big deal since its just a samle.

Have you tried this perfume before?

If yes, do you like it? :)

A Little Bit Country, A Little Bit Barbershop Quartet

A couple of weeks ago I spent a few days in Music City for the Barbershop Harmony Society’s International Convention. While the convention demographic skewed a little older and the fashion skewed to sequined vests and matching zoot suits (and penguin costumes!), the style on the streets of Nashville reflected an updated honky-tonk sensibility.

Worn-in western boots were ubiquitous and, in the sticky heat of mid-afternoon CD shopping at Ernest Tubb's and eating too much barbeque at Jack’s, best paired with a light dress like the Magical Mini Dress and the Happy Mini Dress from Daughters of the Revolution, or the Placed Print Easy Dress from Juicy. Best bets for boots? Bronx, N.D.C., Golden Goose, and Frye all offer a western-style riding boot.

When the sun goes down, the shorts come out. Siwy Denim, William Rast, and True Religion showcase the favored distressed, frayed style. Summer tops like Mason’s Racer Detail Tank, LaROK’s Navajo Chain Top, and Rachel Pally’s Double Bow Top show off some skin (and the also-ubiquitous, slightly-faded tattoo) and add a chic sex appeal to dressed-down denim and boots. Add a long necklace or a couple of bangles, and the look is perfect for bar-hopping with a Country and Western twang.

Whether you’re trying to channel Mother Maybelle, Patsy Cline, or Carrie Underwood, shopbop has what you’re looking for.

First Fashion: Our Favorites from What's New

We’re in the middle of a heat wave. So why am I humming Jingle Bells and acting like Christmas in July actually exists? Because we’ve got loads of fur-trimmed, cozy newcomers in What’s New.
Juicy’s Snow Zip Quilted Cuff Boot has a fetching wedge heel and comfy sherpa lining.
Lighter weight, but still appropriate for cool temperatures, this 3/4 sleeve coat from Juicy has a detachable faux fur collar and cheeky logo buttons.
I’m a sucker for furry angora, and I love the cropped sleeves on this cardigan from Alexander Wang.
A/C not cutting it? Imagine you’re in an igloo, with a little help from shopbop.

In the Glossies: Time’s Tickin’

The latest issue of Life&Style magazine called out a few detail-oriented watches, and the Kenneth Jay Lane ladybug watch, which we happen to adore for its quirky attitude, made the cut. Another notable? A little Marc by Marc Jacobs creation. There weren’t any Juicy tickers in the bunch, but we think it’s the perfect brand to round out this timely threesome.

First Fashion: Our Favorites from What's New

One of my favorite things about fashion is wading through the wide range of design inspiration.
Sunner’s brand of preppy cool has found the perfect medium in this ruffled corduroy dress. Now that I’m not in school anymore, something has to take the place of buying new #2 pencils!
Art deco always has that timeless, edgy quality, which is why I love the angular, exaggerated pleating on Kooba’s Tracy Bag.
The utilitarian-style key detail on these post earrings from Juicy are small enough to warrant a double-take, and quirky enough to make that double-take worth it. Maybe if I wear these they’ll keep me from locking my keys in the car. While it’s running. Again.

New Summer Styles from Juicy

We'd swear Juicy's been reading our minds. How else to explain that they always seem to know exactly what we're in the mood for at any given moment? And this season is no different. Because statement rings to sweeping maxi dresses, embellished ballet flats to bedazzled tees, tailored jackets to buttery soft totes, sophisticated blouses to their signature hoodies, Juicy's got everything we've been daydreaming about for summer. What a girl wants? Juicy knows. And you can get it right here, at shopbop.

First Fashion: Our Favorite's from What's New

For whatever reason, my picks from today’s What’s New say "Lumberjack chic." For reals.
This checked shirt from Sunner may take its inspiration from a certain legendary lumberjack’s closet, but with a cool blue color and a flattering fit, this top is my favorite kind of unexpected style.
These shorts from Elizabeth and James have that “I ripped a hole in my favorite jeans and had to cut them off so I can still keep wearing them” look that I love. Plus, the suspenders are off-beat and cool and much more delicate than those you might expect from expert tree-fellers.
I love the sweet heart detail and metallic leather band on this watch from Juicy Couture. It may not be appropriate lumberjack wear, but I could time how long it takes Paul to cut down a tree!

First Fashion: Our Favorites from What’s New

How do I head-off the Monday morning blahs? I gulp down gallons of iced coffee and start putting together my look for Friday night.
The draping detail at the front makes this sweeping dress feel fashion-forward, and the fitted cut makes it super flattering. An added bonus? It’s washable. So crucial in the sticky summer heat. Tart, Aphrodite Dress
I love the effortless chic of a maxi dress with flat metallic sandals, and the beautiful detailing on this pair from Dolce Vita makes them look pricier than they actually are. Dolce Vita Metallic Tulip Strappy Thong Sandal, Gold
Nothing brings a summer look together quite like a big, bold bracelet, and this earthy-yet-glamorous one fits the bill perfectly. Juicy Couture, Wood Brick Bracelet
So cheer up ladies! Friday’s only four days away. Get your weekend look together in What’s New.

Wake Up to Summer with JUICY

It’s that time of year when everything is fresh and new, when we open all our windows and spend every possible moment outside. Summer is in the air, and new Juicy styles have arrived just in time. Their signature terry is spot-on, as always, and they’ve given their princess style a less girly, more feminine slant. Sun-seeking dresses match up with sleek sandals, and airy blouses top the denim fits we adore. On-trend handbags and sporty-chic watches are here too, which can only mean it’s shaping up to be one Juicy summer. Find the latest looks, right here, at shopbop.

First Fashion: The Best of What’s New

Countless examples of modern chic arrive at shopbop every day, and we’d be doing you a disservice if we didn’t tell you we find a few eye-catching standouts to covet each and every one of those days. That’s why we’re bringing you First Fashion, your morning look at our favorites in What’s New. Have some style with your coffee.

Today, I have summer dresses on the mind, mostly because of these knockout pieces of eye candy:

With summer’s arrival comes a deluge of wedding invites, and with that, the search for a dress. This sweet frock is perfection. (Shoshanna Strapless Bubble Dress, in Kelly Green)

This little Juicy number is date-night flirtatiousness, and with a crisp white jacket, it can pull off office fun too. (Juicy Couture Scallop Dress with Belt, in Cherry Pie)

For those lazy days summer is prone to, this dress makes being comfy and looking coolly chic one and the same. (Splendid Jersey & Habotai Strapless Dress, in White)

Every great dress deserves an equally great bag, and Tory Burch’s Provence Metallic Woven Clutch is perfect with absolutely everything. You know there’s much more. Find it in What’s New.
