Paris Fashion Week as always was a major destination for the designer crowd recently. Boasting some of the hottest names in the industry and an A grade guest list, Paris is the home of Haute Courture.
Naturally plenty of press were on hand to give a blow by blow description of each days high and low lights. Now that the closing ceremony has come and gone the critics have given their overview of proceedings and as always it has involved an over use of adjectives and overstating the obvious.

Memorial Day
I'm out of town visiting family for the weekend, and skipping my traditional post for today. Instead I just wanted to take a minute to thank the men and women of our military, and their families, for the sacrifice they make to protect the rest of us and keep our country safe. I have/had friends and family in the military, and a best friend who is home with her little one and another on the way while her husband is serving our country in Iraq. On this day, I think it is important to remember those people, and the ones who have lost their lives.
On a lighter note, I got engaged to my hubby two years ago this weekend. Here is a picture of us celebrating over mimosas at brunch that day. Happy engage-a-versary to us!

Guest Post: A Few of My Favorite Things
+ Sun-kissed freckles. Not only are they adorable, they give me an excuse to go easy on the makeup all summer long.
+ Architectural salvage yards. I have this dream of living in a modern home, sprinkled with rustic details, like this sliding barn door.
+ Being feminine.
+ Big, thick, oversized glasses. I crush on a new pair every week.
+ Hats. My mom had me in all sorts of different styles from an early age. Right now I'm enamored of a classic fedora I picked during a trip to Sonoma, California.
+ Boy things, like flannel, hiking boots, oversized watches, broken-in jeans, and super soft T-shirts. I'm always stealing my fiancé's clothes!
+ Cats that do human things. Like this one.
+ Cheeky accessories. I'm a true nerd at heart, with a soft spot for dry humor. I love these playful mittens from Kate Spade. Gotta find a pair on eBay!
+ The best days start with two slices of avocado toast.
+ Designer Paul Rand. Get to know his work here.

Man Fashion: New Era Caps for Fashionista Like You
When it comes to summer, the new era caps are the most popular choice of hip hop and sports fanatics. So what are new era caps basically?
The new era caps are the largest sports-licensed headwear company in the United States. The company is the premier cap provider for MLB, as well as a number of NBA and NHL franchises, plus a handful of major collegiate athletic programs.
Before we go further to commit our money into this fanatic caps, let look at what are the primary buying tips.
One of the first things that you should check is the quality of workmanship of your New Era cap. Examine the top of the hat and look at the top button. The button should be centered with the seams. If it is not, there is a good possibility that the cap is a fake.
In addition, check the quality of the stitching on the cap. On all authentic New Era Caps, the stitching will be smooth, dense, and tight. A good way to examine the quality of the stitching is to check out the stitching of the New Era logo. If it is uneven, crooked and/or seems to contain gaps between stitches, the hat is most likely a fake. Since the logo is one of the top branding factors, you can bet that New Era gets this right every time.
Next, check out the profile of your New Era 59Fifty fitted cap. The crown should be high and rounded. Inferior quality, imitation caps almost always tend to have a much lower profile and can actually look a bit flat across the crown.
You should also examine the New Era tag that is stitched on the inside of the cap. The edges should be stitched evenly, and the tag should lie smooth with no bunching at the edges. Crooked stitching that goes beyond boundaries most likely indicates a fake. You should also check for the New Era hologram on the underside of the brim of the hat. If your cap is missing this, it is probably an imitation.
In short, please put some common sense, time to examine these new era caps before you shelll out your hard earned money.

The description of evening dress
As a result of several reasons , lots of fashion clothing stores do charge exorbitant prices for some evening dresses ,you still wonder how to get a extreme low price evening dress while won’t sacrifice high quality and stylish design . Your first choice is discount store . Several stores sell discount goods ,so does dress shop . A large number of discount evening dress isready for your searching . Nothing is difficult for man who wills . Here we should follow “nothing is difficult for woman who wills ” .
Some stores hold only one goal “large volume ” against all odds , via giving up some profit margin per sale. How did they complete it ?
To be able to serve customers better and offer low price , some of these stores buy directly from manufacturers of evening dresses .
Wholesaler is your second selection for purchasing a perfect evening dress . However ,there is a problem ,wholesaler usually do not sell retail evening clothes to individuals. If you're enterprising then you are so lucky .
But don’t worry ,a way is figured out for you , you can go with your friends, family or neighbors who is interested in discount evening dress . Integrate purchase is an ultra cheap ideal for shopping lovers .
Thirdly , several stores have periods when they sell off their stock cheaply to make room for new evening dress. Then if you just catch up the time then you can actually get a dress for half the original price or less.
The end, if you don’t matter ,you can choose to hire or rent an evening dress . Several companies offer this kind of service . With low price ,meanwhile you also will pursue a perfect evening dress

Sarah Jessica Parker Sex and the City 2 London Premiere
Last year, we loved Sarah Jessica Parker‘s iconic pale green Alexander McQueen dress and butterfly-covered Philip Treacy hat that she wore during the the Sex and the City world premiere way back in London in 2008.
This 2009, for the London premiere of Sex and the City 2, Sarah Jessica Parker went for a black silk and lace bustier archive gown from Alexander McQueen’s spring/summer 2008 line with a clutch from McQueen’s pre-fall 2010 collection and pre-fall 2008 lace shoes. To complete her stunning look, she had a black tulle cloud by Philip Treacy to compliment her sleek blonde locks.
